Skin Analysis and Pre-Skin Treatment Consultation
Performed at our Duluth, GA medical office, north of Atlanta.
Skin analysis is an integral step in providing effective skin treatments. Before any procedure or treatment can address a problem, individuals’ skin conditions and source of cosmetic concern must first be identified. For example, it’s often an allergy to a hair care product or makeup that causes acne breakouts along the forehead and hairline. Additionally, laser skin treatment can react differently depending upon the type (complexion and oiliness) of skin treated.
Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center’s trained and licensed estheticians use their extensive aesthetic skin care experience to carefully analyze a patient’s skin when formulating a treatment plan. During your first visit at Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center, your esthetician or laser hair removal technician will ask you what you would like to accomplish with the proceeding cosmetic skin treatments . The Laser Lights staff will then combine your input with their expert knowledge to recommend the most effective laser skin treatment or non-laser procedure for your needs.
Skin analysis, or facial mapping, is a complimentary service provided by Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center during consultation for any of our cosmetic skin procedures or in preparation for application of any of our skin care products.
Frequently Asked Questions about Skin Analysis
Can’t I just skip a step and come right in for my treatment?
As eager as you might be to take care of whatever cosmetic concern you have, these procedures we offer are true medical procedures, so it’s crucial that you first find out what treatment is truly the right one for your needs. The good news, though, is that the consultation and treatment can often be done in one appointment, so if that’s ideal for you, be sure to ask when scheduling your consultation.
Will I have the same aesthetician for my consultation as I will for my treatment?
When you call to make your consultation appointment, we’ll find out what procedure you’re considering, and as long as scheduling permits, we’ll schedule your consultation to take place with an aesthetician who has your procedure among their specialties.
