May is a month full of events including graduations and parties, which also means lots of pictures. A good skincare regimen is important to incorporate in your daily routine at any age. Although teens may not need to worry about wrinkles and lines quite yet, encouraging a healthy skincare routine can prevent skin damage and slow the appearance of premature aging. teen skin care atlanta georgia

Sunscreen is the most important element to include in your daily skincare regimen as it protects your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays that can cause premature aging and skin cancer. Dr. David Whiteman encourages patients to wear a broad spectrum sunscreen with at least a 30 SPF or more every day. He also educates patients on sun safety such as avoiding indoor tanning beds.

Acne can be a nuisance and embarrassing for many during their adolescent years. Acne light therapy is an option provided by the experienced laser technicians to help eliminate the uncomfortable signs of acne providing smoother, clearer skin. Other skincare treatments available for teens at Laser Lights include customized facials and chemical peels.

Proper diet and exercise can also keep skin looking youthful and glowing. With a comprehensive skincare routine that addresses existing issues and also protects your skin for the future, you won’t cringe at viewing the pictures you took while having fun!

Through Viora’s CORE™ technology, radio-frequency is used to heat targeted tissue from superficial layers to deep under the skin. Viora Reaction™ promotes collagen production to increase skin elasticity while shrinking fat cell volume to reduce stubborn cellulite. This advanced system can also treat sensitive areas of the face to address signs of aging including lax skin and mild to moderate wrinkles around the eyes and neck. Viora can even treat stretch marks and loose skin around popular areas such as the abdomen, underarms, and hips.

As an added benefit, this non-invasive treatment is virtually painless; most compare the treatment to a deep tissue massage. With minimal downtime, patients can return to their daily activities after treatment. Although you will notice a difference after one treatment, our experienced providers recommend between six to eight treatments for optimal firming and contouring results.

Beware of Deal Sites Offering Laser Hair Removal

In The News, Laser Hair Removal, Uncategorized certified laser technician, daily deal sites, dangers of deal sites, discounted laser hair removal, laser hair removal, laser hair removal packages, Laser Lights, laser lights cosmetic laser center, medical grade lasers

You probably receive at least one email everyday with special offers and skin care treatment savings in your area. Although these deals can be enticing, it’s important to know a few key points about cosmetic treatments before buying any deeply discounted treatment. At Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center, we offer competitive pricing while maintaining the highest level of patient care and safety. We use tools like our website and blog to keep patients informed of treatment options and to educate them on what to look for when selecting a procedure besides the cost of laser hair removal. laser hair removal atlanta georgia

Many times, places offering laser hair removal packages for extremely discounted rates do not have medical-grade equipment or professionally trained laser technicians. It’s not uncommon for patients to come to Laser Lights for additional treatments after using a deal at another location because they are unsatisfied with their results. By receiving services from an unlicensed laser technician, individuals also assume an increased risk of burns or scarring from misuse of lasers.

At Laser Lights, we only offer FDA approved laser equipment that is safe for your unique skin type. As a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), our certified laser technicians are dedicated to providing patients with optimal care to meet their skincare needs. Our laser hair removal services can reduce hair growth almost anywhere on the body. The most common areas treated include laser hair removal on the legs, underarms, face, and bikini line. Receiving treatment from an experienced laser technician also helps ensure that you will need fewer secondary sessions as the laser is set specifically for your unique skin and hair type.

Because hair grows in cycles, it is necessary for multiple treatments to achieve the best results. We also offer touch-up sessions for only $60. If you are interested in laser hair removal services, please call our office today. Be sure to view our specials page for laser hair removal packages and other cosmetic savings. Get Ready for Spring Break at Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center

In The News, Laser Hair Removal, Laser Skin Resurfacing, Skin Care, Uncategorized, Vein Removal, Viora Skin Tightening cellulite reduction, facial veins, fractionated laser, laser hair removal, laser hair removal atlanta ga, laser hair removal duluth ga, laser hair removal specials, Laser Lights, laser lights cosmetic laser center, laser resurfacing, laser skin resurfacing, signs of aging, spider vein elimination, spider veins, Viora reaction, Viora skin firming

Although it’s still winter, sunshine and spring break are following close behind. Winter weather can leave many of us feeling that our skin is lackluster. Staying warm with sweaters and jeans for months at a time can also cause us to neglect our skin.

At Laser Lights, we want to you to look your best for whatever your spring break plans might entail. Now is a great time to take advantage of several cosmetic and laser procedures. Treatments such as laser hair removal, spider vein elimination, Viora skin firming, and laser skin resurfacing usually require multiple sessions to acquire optimal results. Starting treatments now can have your skin feeling and looking great in time to pull out the shorts and swimsuits.

Laser hair removal is a popular treatment for both men and women wanting to eliminate unwanted body and facial hair. Since the hair removal process is only effective during the early growing cycle, patients usually need up to 6 visits for complete hair removal. Our FDA-approved medical grade lasers can safely treat almost any area of the body; popular areas for hair removal include the legs, underarms, arms, face, chest and bikini.

You shouldn’t feel self-conscious this spring because of unsightly facial or leg veins. Our laser treatment delivers laser energy to the vein so that the body naturally absorbs the unsightly vessels. This safe procedure requires between one to three sessions and patients benefit from no downtime.

If you are looking to show-off a healthier looking face with a youthful glow, you may be interested in CO2 laser resurfacing. This fractionated laser can address signs of aging including sun spots and wrinkles as well as smooth out acne scars e and hyperpigmentation. Since this procedure eliminates old, damaged skin to reveal new, healthy skin, patients can expect to feel effects similar to sunburn (depending on the depth of treatment required). Since it’s important to avoid direct sunlight for several days after treatment, winter is a great time for laser resurfacing as you spend more time indoors.

If you are looking to reduce cellulite and tighten loose skin, let Viora Reaction™ non-invasive technology address those concerns. This advanced technology uses radio frequency to reduce cellulite and promote collagen production. Most patients begin to notice results after one treatment, but typically receive multiple treatments for optimal results.

To learn more about these procedures or other services we offer, please contact our office today. Be sure to connect with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ for the latest cosmetic laser news and information.
