At Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center we offer skincare services for the entire body, but we often have patients ask what they can do to address signs of facial aging and uneven skin tone. We offer facial rejuvenation treatments for all skin types including chemical peels, laser skin resurfacing, and micro-laser peels. facial rejuvenation atlanta ga

Since chemical peels consist of the application of specialized chemical solutions, our experienced professionals can customize a peel for your unique skincare needs. Chemical peels are beneficial in reducing fine lines and wrinkles while restoring collagen in the skin. Our fruit acid peel is one of our most mild peels available and patients enjoy the minimal to no downtime required. For a deeper rejuvenation, patients can benefit from Jessner’s and Vi Peels. The Jessner’s peel penetrates the top, dead layers of the skin to reveal healthy, new skin. This peel can also address acne concerns. The highly adaptive Vi Peel can treat numerous conditions including sun damage, wrinkles, acne, and pigmentation issues.

Our laser skin resurfacing treatments including fractionated CO2 lasers can treat deeper facial wrinkles, melasma, and acne scarring. In addition to the face, Fraxel lasers can also be used to treat the neck, chest, and hands. Micro-laser peels are also a great option for busy patients who are looking for a shorter recovery period while still eliminating dead skin and stimulating collagen production. Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical exfoliating procedure that can also smooth and soften skin with minimal downtime and discomfort.

It’s important to remember when considering these facial rejuvenations procedures to avoid direct sunlight and wear SPF of 30+ or more while your skin recovers.

Environmental factors such as smoking, sun damage, and stress can cause premature aging. Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center offers laser skin resurfacing treatments to turn back the hands of time and provide patients with a more youthful appearance. Laser skin resurfacing is great for both men and women looking to rejuvenate their skin without the expense of surgical facial procedures. Laser Treatment

Our medical grade, FDA-approved laser technologies can help address fine lines and wrinkles on the face as well as even out skin tone and irregularities. Our experienced laser technicians use the CO2 fractionated laser technology to target specific areas of the face, allowing for a completely customizable treatment for your skincare needs. This fractionated technology can penetrate deeper layers of the skin by creating tiny wounds through laser columns, promoting collagen production through the body’s natural healing process.

Patients with superficial skin conditions such as mild wrinkles and brown spots may benefit from Erbium laser resurfacing. As an added benefit, this surface-level laser can treat the hands, neck, or chest in addition to the face. This procedure is milder than fractionated resurfacing, reducing recovery time.

We also offer a micro-laser peel also known as the “weekend” peel for patients with minor imperfections, which allows for a short recovery period and minimal post-treatment care.

During a pre-treatment skin analysis, our laser technicians will identify if you are a good candidate for laser skin resurfacing. As old skin is removed and new skin is revealed, patients can expect to feel a slight sunburn sensation after treatment. It’s important to avoid sunlight for at least a week after treatment.

At Laser Lights, we offer advanced laser systems that allow our licensed laser technicians to target specific areas of concern. laser skin resurfacing

We are currently offering CO2 Fractional (Fraxel) and Erbium laser skin resurfacing. The Fractionated CO2 can reduce deep facial wrinkles, acne scars, and dark spots. This laser is also safe for use on the neck, chest, and hands. The CO2 fractionated technology targets small areas of the skin to penetrate the dermis allowing the skin to increase collagen production and generate new, younger looking skin cells.

Our Erbium laser is recommended for patients with minor skin imperfections including brown spots, mild wrinkles, and fine lines. The Erbium laser uses light to remove the outermost layer of skin and promote collagen growth in the deeper layers.

During a pre-treatment skin analysis, our experienced staff can help determine which laser would provide you optimal results for your unique needs. If you are interested in laser skin resurfacing, please contact us today to schedule your appointment. Be sure to check out our specials page, as we are running discount pricing on CO2 laser resurfacing for the month of December. Hard on Your Skin This Summer? Laser Resurfacing May be Able to Help Your Facial Aging

In The News, Laser Skin Resurfacing, Uncategorized age spots laser removal, Atlanta skin care laser clinics, co2 laser skin resurfacing Atlanta, CO2 lasers, erasing sun damage, erbium laser, fall skin treatments, fractionated lasers, Fraxel laser, laser skin resurfacing Atlanta GA, laser skin resurfacing treatments, laser treatment Atlanta, laser treatment for face, lasers for wrinkles, wrinkle treatment, wrinkles Atlanta

Now that summer is over and you are back into a routine, don’t neglect your skin’s needs. During the summertime people sometimes ignore the damaging effects of the sun such as skin damage, sun spots, premature wrinkles and aging. With fall around the corner, Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center wants you to have healthy and youthful-looking skin all year long.

Laser skin resurfacing treatments can be used to treat facial wrinkles, dark spots, acne scars and more. At Laser Lights we offer the fractionated (Fraxel) CO2 laser and Erbium laser technologies. Unlike traditional CO2 lasers that could leave a visible line between treated and untreated skin, the Fraxel laser targets very precise areas to allow for a more tailored treatment for a patient’s individual needs. This treatment helps increase collagen and elastin production while generating new skin on the face. The Fraxel laser can also be used to treat the neck, chest and hands of men and women.

For slighter blemishes such as brown spots, mild facial imperfections or wrinkles, the Erbium laser may be recommended. The Erbium laser removes the outermost layer of skin to stimulate collagen production in the deep layers. Since the Erbium layer only penetrates the top layers of skin, the treatment is better suited for more superficial skin conditions like fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and mouth.

As we begin to spend more time indoors and less time outside, it is an optimal time to consider laser skin resurfacing treatments. Although laser skin resurfacing can be done year round, it’s important to stay out of the sun after treatment to avoid hyperpigmentation.
