How Laser Lights Can Help You Manage Your Rosacea

Uncategorized cosmetic laser, med spa, red skin, rosacea treatment, skin care

People who suffer from rosacea are well aware of the constant difficulties that arise with managing the chronic symptoms. This condition can be a frustrating barrier to maintaining consistent and clear skin tone on the face. Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center performs advanced cosmetic laser treatments to help patients with rosacea feel confident in their complexion.

What are the symptoms of rosacea?

Although specific symptoms vary from person to person, there are common issues that arise in people who have rosacea. Since there are numerous types of rosacea, “flare ups” occur in different types and severities. Common symptoms include facial redness, visible blood vessels, acne-like breakouts, irritation, swelling, and flushing. Flare ups can last for weeks to months before they temporarily fade. Many people have a more difficult time managing symptoms with age.

How Laser Lights can help you improve your complexion after rosacea flare ups

Unfortunately, there is currently no cure for rosacea. The symptoms tend to be chronic and last throughout a person’s life. However, there are effective cosmetic treatments that can dramatically improve a complexion to help patients feel confident. Laser Lights uses advanced cosmetic laser treatment to target the relevant blood vessels beneath the skin that are causing the inconsistent redness and flushing. The lasers that are used for rosacea treatment make the blood vessels close off, so they can be safely absorbed through the skin and naturally eliminated by the body. Many rosacea patients have used the cosmetic laser services at Laser Lights to manage their symptoms and maintain a consistent complexion.

To provide customized results for each case of rosacea, our team at Laser Lights performs complimentary consultations to determine the best plan of action. We tailor our approach to the unique needs of each patient, so our treatment is as successful as possible for each person.

Additional tips for managing rosacea symptoms

In between your rosacea treatment sessions at Laser Lights, it’s important to avoid “triggers” that exacerbate symptoms. Skin products, sun exposure, stress, alcohol, cold weather are just some of the factors that can worsen rosacea. Finding out which triggers affect your complexion is one of the first steps in creating a long-term approach to managing rosacea symptoms.

If you have any questions about how our team at Laser Lights can help you maintain a clear and consistent complexion, call our office at (770) 495-9322. Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for updates on our treatments and cosmetic specials.

Choosing Cosmetic Lasers to Create Your “Fall Look”

Uncategorized brown spot removal Atlanta, cosmetic laser, how to get rid of wrinkles, laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation

Fall is the season for cosmetic lasers. With so many options available at Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center , it can feel overwhelming to narrow down your top choice. To help you get to know the capability of our cosmetic laser technologies a little better, we’re discussing several cosmetic lasers that will help you create your best look this fall.

Why fall is an ideal time for cosmetic laser procedures

Cosmetic lasers require patients to be careful with their sun exposure after each procedure. Fall is a suitable time of year because sun intensity is lower, which means a safer recovery process. Patients who start their treatment process in early to mid-fall can show off their incredible results before the holiday season and springtime.

Fractionated CO2 Resurfacing

It’s part of the natural aging process for the face, neck, hands and chest to develop wrinkles and skin blemishes over time. However, age is only a number and our Fractionated CO2 Resurfacing procedure reaches deep layers of the skin to fade prominent pigmentation and lines. This advanced cosmetic laser stimulates collagen and elastin production to effectively rejuvenate skin. It’s an excellent choice for patients who want to look refreshed this fall and beyond.

Laser Hair Removal

Men and women both turn to laser hair removal as a semi-permanent solution for unwanted body and facial hair. After years of shaving, not needing to worry about it anymore is a major relief for many people. The most common areas that laser hair removal treat include the bikini line, legs, underarms, face, back, and chest. However, it’s even used by men to eliminate hair from the scalp for a clean-shaven look. The number of treatments that each patient needs will depend on their hair color, skin type, and hair texture. Visit our website photo gallery to check out results from real patients who have used laser hair removal to say goodbye to shaving and unwanted hair.

Age/Freckle/Brown Spot Removal

While the consistent sunshine is one of the nicer parts of living in the state of Georgia, it can also damage the surface of the skin and leave age spots, freckles and brown spots. These blemishes often occur in areas of the body that receive a higher frequency of sun exposure. We use advanced cosmetic laser technology that can remove age spots, freckles and brown spots in as few treatments as possible. Our licensed medical staff will tailor treatment to your specific needs to ensure that you’re receiving quality, customized care.

We look forward to a season full of helping patients achieve their desired look with our cosmetic lasers. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a complementary consultation, contact Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center by calling (770) 495-9322. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for updates on treatments and information about our cosmetic specials.

Learn How You Can Banish Your Brown Spots

Uncategorized cosmetic laser, how to erase freckles, how to fade hyperpigmentation, how to remove brown spots, mole removal

Although we’re grateful for the beautiful Georgia sunshine, it causes real problems for skin health and beauty. Prolonged sunlight can create unwanted blemishes that interfere with skin consistency and radiance. At Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center, we’re committed to providing you with the best cosmetic lasers and treatments to help you look and feel like the best version of yourself.

Identifying your type of Brown Spot

Our expert estheticians begin brown spot removal with a thorough evaluation in order to determine the best course of treatment. Many times, hyperpigmentation is due to hormones and/or sun damage. During your consultation, we will identify the type of brown spot that you have and develop a plan for treatment with our specialized cosmetic laser technology.

How Cosmetic Laser Treatment rejuvenates your skin

Since the sun is the primary culprit for a significant amount of skin damage, the common areas that brown spots are found include the face, neck, hands, shoulders, and arms. UV rays elicit an increased production of melanin that results in darkened pigmentation that develop into moles, freckles or brown spots. However, some of these features are genetic or hormonal, so sun exposure isn’t always the main factor.

Depending on the size and severity of the brown spots Laser Lights uses lightening creams or laser treatments to fade hyperpigmentation. For more significant cases, one of our cosmetic laser technicians will use laser treatment to dissolve the areas of unwanted pigmentation. Targeted laser energy is focused on the brown spot to break it down into smaller particles that are then safely absorbed and eliminated by the body. It will gradually fade over the course of several weeks or months. Sometimes the hyperpigmentation is so pronounced that it requires multiple treatments to fully remove it from the surface. The final result is skin that has an even tone and natural-looking consistency.

Preserving your results after treatment

Although the treatment areas won’t necessarily return to their hyperpigmented state after sun exposure, it’s important to cover up vulnerable parts of the body to prevent future instances of this condition. Laser Lights supports year-round skin health in between our cosmetic procedures. The duration of your results can often be significantly affected by the extent at which your skin is protected and nourished.

Our goal is to reveal your self-confidence by creating your ideal outer image. If you have any questions about brown spot removal or any of our other cosmetic procedures, call our office at (770) 495-9322. Don’t forget to follow Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for information about our ongoing specials and discounts.

Procedures to Fade Your Scars at Laser Lights

Scars are consistent physical reminders that can cause self-consciousness and embarrassment. At Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center, we want every patient to feel confident in their own skin, no matter their age. That’s why we perform various cosmetic treatments that can effectively fade the appearance of scarring.

The trouble with scar tissue

A scar is your body’s attempt at healing itself after physical damage, skin disease, acne, or surgery. Unfortunately, the way that healed tissue looks isn’t a bodily concern. Scar tissue can appear rough, sunken, uneven or raised compared to surrounding skin. Without cosmetic treatment, old scars can still be present for decades without showing significant signs of fading.

Cosmetic treatments at Laser Lights that fade scars

SilkPeel^® Rejuvenation is a multifaceted skin treatment that incorporates simultaneous exfoliation, debris removal and topical medication that is specifically designed for scars. It evenly abrades the surface layer of the skin to remove dead skin cells and administer a topical solution that improves complexion. Because it’s such a comprehensive treatment for scarring on the face or body, the results can be instant.
Fractionated CO2 Laser Resurfacing can target the neck, chest, and hands of patients who have scarring to reduce visibility and produce more consistent skin. This cosmetic laser reaches deep into layers of the skin to fade pigmentation by using a series of tiny laser columns that stimulate the production of collagen to improve elasticity and appearance.
Laser Lights offers multiple Chemical Peels that can soften and peel the top layer of skin, which will make scar tissue look less prominent. Our experienced estheticians can help match you with the best fit chemical peel based on your specific cosmetic needs.
Réjuvapen^® uses a micro-needling technique, which is essentially a series of tiny needles that are used to promote collagen and elastin growth. The treatment can make your scarring look smoother and less noticeable. For maximum results, a specially-formulated peptide gel can be placed on the treatment site.
Croton Oil Peels is a specialized blend of croton oil and phenol that improves skin texture and consistency. It can also be used as an effective method for rejuvenating areas of scar tissue. This treatment works on any part of the face and is safe for all skin types.

We strongly recommend that you schedule an in-person consultation to determine which cosmetic treatment is the best fit for their scarring. Our skilled and experienced medical staff create personalized treatment for each patient to ensure that they receive the best possible results. If you have any questions about scar reduction, call our office at (770) 495-9322. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for updates on our cosmetic specials and events!
