Celebrate the Holidays with Special Savings

, , , ,

The holiday season is here, and at Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center, one of our favorite parts of this time of the year is the spirit of giving. It can be difficult to regularly show our loved ones how much they mean to us, especially if we don’t see them often, but during the holidays, a thoughtful gift can be the perfect way to show them how much you understand and appreciate them. To get in on the generosity of the season, we’re offering you some great specials to enjoy.

As a treatment that’s especially popular during the colder months (since it’s easier to get the sun protection you need between sessions when you’re spending less time outside and more time covered in winter gear), laser hair removal can help you be ready when swimsuit season rolls back around. While it can be effective on nearly any area of the body, this month you’ll get the most bang for your buck with packages for the lip, chin, or underarms.

Skin Tightening/Viora™

Even for those who are diligent about staying in shape over the years, many of us will find ourselves with cellulite and less-than-firm skin. Our Viora Reaction™ treatments can address both issues at the same time by using three forms of radio frequency (RF) energy as well as vacuum therapy. The best part?  The treatment is non-invasive and pain-free, so there’s no need to sacrifice comfort or downtime for great results.

Réjuvapen® and Fractionated CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing

Both of these procedures treat the same common cosmetic issues with minimal downtime, but they use two different approaches. Réjuvapen® uses microneedling and human growth factor (HGF) to help your skin rebuild the collagen you’ve lost with age, which minimizes fine lines, wrinkles, mild skin laxity, and even acne scars. Fractionated CO2 laser skin resurfacing also focuses on restoring youthful collagen, but this procedure sends tiny beams of laser light into the skin and can also reduce age spots or other complexion irregularities at the same time.

Any of the treatments above can be perfect ways to either give yourself a boost of beauty and confidence OR to show someone on your shopping list how much you care. Regardless of which aesthetic treatment will best serve that special someone, our gift certificates are available year-round and can be used for any of our laser and non-laser services. To learn more about the procedures offered by our experienced staff, explore our website or schedule a consultation at Laser Lights. November Savings to Celebrate Thanksgiving

, , , ,

Thanksgiving is a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and family and to remember all the silver linings in our lives. But for many of us, it also marks the beginning of the ever-busy winter holiday season. That’s why our November specials at Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center are centered around ways you can target your cosmetic “problem areas” and head into the holidays with an appearance that’s ready to take on all those family gatherings and impromptu photo sessions.

While body hair tends to weigh more heavily on our minds during the summer months, fall is actually the perfect time to start your treatments. For the most thorough and longest lasting results, you’ll need several sessions with around a month in between, so give yourself an early gift and get started on your way toward smoother, sleeker skin.

Fractionated CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing

When it comes to facial rejuvenation, fractionated CO2 laser skin resurfacing is one of your most effective and comprehensive options without taking the surgical route. A specialized laser sends tiny columns of light into the targeted skin, which not only activates the body’s collagen production to make skin firmer and smoother, but also breaks up the pigment in age spots. By tackling several cosmetic concerns at once, these laser treatments keep results looking natural while giving you an all-around younger appearance.

Laser Tattoo Removal

Few skin issues are as noticeable as a tattoo you’ve fallen out of love with. After all, they’re made to stand out, so concealing them with makeup is a major challenge, and trying to keep them hidden under your clothing can put some serious restrictions on your wardrobe. Fortunately, we use some of the most advanced technology for laser tattoo removal, so you can get more complete results in fewer sessions. To minimize your risk of the side effects that sun exposure can cause after a laser treatment, now’s the perfect time to get started.

Réjuvapen® Micro-Needling with HGF

As one of our newest facial rejuvenation treatments, Réjuvapen® can improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars. The procedure uses a technique called micro-needling, which is a laser-free way to help your body produce more collagen. The addition of human growth factor (HGF) amplifies the results for an even more radiant look.

Skincare Products

Having beautiful skin is a combination of getting the right professional treatments and keeping up a good skincare routine at home. We carry a wide variety of skincare products, from cleansers to makeup to sunscreen, which are designed to work with different types of skin. If you aren’t sure which products are the best choice for your skin’s composition and problem areas, schedule a consultation and skin analysis.

Cosmetic Facial Injections

Whether you’re considering Botox® for wrinkles around and between the eyes and on the forehead, or you’re better suited for facial fillers to improve wrinkles around your mouth and nose, November is the perfect time to refresh your wrinkle reduction treatments before the holidays – your injections will have the time they need for your results to be fully visible, but, because the results will last for several months, you’ll still be looking your best during the winter holidays. Plus, it’s always a good idea to get your treatments done before the season of holiday shopping and preparations “officially” begins on Black Friday.

Whether your current skin hang-ups include wrinkles, unwanted hair, acne scars, or a tattoo that’s past its expiration date, we offer treatments that are safe and effective for all skin types. We’re also a great resource for easy holiday shopping – we offer gift certificates which can apply to any of our many available products and services. To learn more, explore our website or schedule an appointment with us. Or, to hear about our latest special offers, news, and helpful tips, follow Laser Lights on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.

Popular Aesthetic Treatments for Kids and Teens

, , , , , , , , , ,

When many people think about cosmetic laser treatments, they think of wrinkle reduction, hair removal, and other services that are generally used by adults only. But there’s no age limit for the benefits of healthy self-confidence, which is why some laser services (as well as non-laser services) can be great ways to address several cosmetic concerns in children and teenagers.

Hemangiomas are abnormal blood vessel growths which tend to appear in infants and children. They can be bright red (like a strawberry) or, if they’re deeper beneath the skin, they can resemble a blue swell. While they’re quite common and generally harmless, these growths often appear in prominent areas like the neck, so they can be embarrassing for a child. Our specialized laser treatments can remove most hemangiomas after one treatment with no downtime, although two treatments are occasionally needed for larger growths.

Birthmark Removal
There are many forms of birthmarks—some are light brown and smooth (café au lait), some are darker and bumpy (congenital nevus), some are dark red (port wine stains), and some are even blue (Mongolian blue spots). For children (or patients of any age) who are self-conscious about their birthmark, laser treatments can effectively remove the mark by targeting the pigments or blood vessels beneath the skin.

Acne Treatments
Given how important self-esteem is for teens, acne can be a heartbreaking condition, especially considering that most teens will feel its effects. In fact, according to the American Academy of Dermatology, as many as 85% of people between the ages of 12 and 24 have some degree of acne. Fortunately, there’s no shortage of treatments that can help. Our acne facials are a gentle yet effective way to clear excess oil and other pore-clogging culprits. Some chemical peels, as well as our popular Silk Dermalinfusion® microdermabrasion-like treatment can also help to minimize pimples, inflammation, and other symptoms of acne.

Acne Scar Reduction
For many teens, the effects of pimples can last long after they’ve disappeared. When pimples cause damage to the skin, they can leave behind a scar, whether it’s an indentation, a raised bump, or an area of darker skin. The treatment for acne scars depends on the type of scar, as well as the patient’s individual needs. Many chemical peels can minimize scars by removing the damaged surface skin to reveal fresher, younger skin beneath, and Silk Dermalinfusion® microdermabrasion uses a similar approach. Réjuvapen® facial rejuvenation is another effective acne scar removal treatment, which uses tiny micro-needles to break up the scar tissue and allow new collagen to form, creating a smoother complexion.

Every parent wants the best for their child and wants their child to feel confident in their appearance. While the idea of cosmetic procedures for children and teens may be concerning, at Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center, we’ve served the Atlanta area since 1999 and we only utilize lasers and treatments that have been proven safe and effective for our patients. To learn more about helping your child be more comfortable in their own skin, schedule a consultation at Laser Lights.
