September Cosmetic Specials to Fall in Love With

Uncategorized anti-aging laser treatments, Atlanta chemical peel discounts, laser hair removal specials atlanta, laser skin treatment specials Atlanta, skin treatment specials in Atlanta

This month will be the “official” start of fall, and we can already see the weather beginning to change. But a new season isn’t the only thing you have to look forward to – it’s also the beginning of a whole new set of exciting skin care discounts at Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center. We believe that feeling confident in your own skin is the perfect way to head into the fall, and we’re happy to oblige with savings on treatments for nearly any cosmetic concern.

SculpSure® Fat Reduction Flash Sale of the Month

We have a special surprise in store that we’ll be announcing on our social media pages during this first week of September. As a “thank you” for being a loyal blog-reading Laser Lights patient, consider this your heads-up to watch our Facebook page for an extremely limited deal on SculpSure® nonsurgical fat reduction!

Fractionated CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing

Many of our treatments at Laser Lights are designed to address a specific issue – spider veins, unwanted hair, excess fat, etc. Fractionated laser skin resurfacing, on the other hand, is a true multi-tasker. This specialized procedure can fight fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars and other scars, sagging skin, brown spots, and other imperfections all at once. Fall is the perfect time to get your laser treatment, especially with this month’s unbeatable discount!

Micro Laser Peels + SilkPeel® Microdermabrasion

If you don’t quite need a fractional laser resurfacing treatment, a micro laser peel is a lighter option with minimal healing time. This month, you can also enhance and maintain your micro laser peel by following it up with a gentle and refreshing SilkPeel® microdermabrasion session.

Laser Vein Treatments

Spider veins happen to nearly all of us, whether they pop up on the legs or the face. Thankfully, lasers can reduce or clear away unwanted spider veins swiftly and noninvasively, and this month’s savings make it even more cost-effective than it usually is.

Laser Hair Removal

Let’s be real, shaving is a pain. For many of us, one of the best perks of fall and winter is that our clothes cover up more skin, allowing us to slack off a bit on body shaving. But for a more long-term solution, starting laser hair removal treatments now can help you have a much easier and less hair summer next year.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are incredibly versatile procedures. Our experienced and licensed medical aestheticians can customize the strength and formula to address the issues you’re most concerned about, and they revitalize the whole face (or other area) to address fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, scars, and more. Chemical peels work best when they’re done as a brief series or as an intermittent part of your beauty routine, and this month, you can save when you buy your next two.

Ladies’ Rejuvenation Seminar – September 27^th, 2017, 6:30pm – 8pm

Our own Dr. David Whiteman will be joining gynecologist Dr. Kristine Gould for a seminar about the many rejuvenation options available for women, including cosmetic surgery, laser female rejuvenation, non-surgical cosmetic treatments, and more. Guests will also enjoy light refreshments and exclusive discounts on select services at Laser Lights, Southern Plastic Surgery, and Gynecology Associates of Gwinnett. The seminar will take place at the Gynecology Associates of Gwinnett office in Lawrenceville, and you can RSVP by calling 678-380-1980.

They may say that beauty is only skin deep, but we all know that in reality, feeling confident truly does contribute to your positivity. All About Fractionated CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing

Uncategorized anti-aging laser treatments, facial rejuvenation atlanta, fractional laser, Laser skin treatments, laser treatments for wrinkles

We’re living in a great age when, thanks to medical science, there are ways to address nearly anything about our appearance that makes us self-conscious or holds back our ability to feel confident and embrace life. What’s even better, though, is when you can treat several of these aesthetic burdens with one treatment. If you have any combination of fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, skin laxity, uneven complexion, or scars from injuries or surgeries, the answer may be fractional CO2 laser skin resurfacing. Check out our infographic below for a crash course on one of our most popular choices for this time of the year.

Like any medical procedure, fractionated CO2 isn’t for everyone, and it comes with real risks. That’s why it’s crucial to leave it up to the professionals at Laser Lights who are specifically trained in the procedure. If you’re ready to find out what we can do for you, schedule a free consultation at Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center. But here’s an insider tip: we’re offering 20% off fractionated CO2 treatments this month (January 2017), so be sure to get your treatment in on time! “What’s This on My Skin?”: Common Skin Spots and Conditions, and How to Remove Them

Uncategorized anti-aging laser treatments, Atlanta microdermabrasion, laser mole removal Atlanta, mole removal Atlanta, skin spots

At Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center, we’re still amazed to think about just how unique everyone’s skin is. Even among people with very similar skin tones, we all have a variety of individual spots and marks which make our complexions truly individual. But as interesting of a concept as this is, these quirts of our skin can make us feel self-conscious, less attractive, or even concerned about our health in some cases. To help you have a better understanding of your own skin, and of the ways you may be able to change it, here’s a breakdown of some of the most common features you may see on your skin.

Small depressions, raised areas, or discolored spots

Scars can have a variety of appearances, and they form because collagen (the protein your body uses to repair your skin after an injury or inflammation like acne) has a texture and appearance which is different than your natural skin. Your cosmetic treatment will depend on whether your scar is raised, depressed, or pigmented, but your options may include Réjuvapen® microneedling, chemical peels, fractionated laser skin resurfacing, and more, as well as makeup and special products which mask their appearance.

Red, blue, or purple tiny lines

If you see these tiny, branch-like lines, they’re probably spider veins. These are most common on the legs and the face, and they form when the one-way valves of your veins allow some blood to fall back down and pool in a particular area. Facial veins can sometimes be a symptom of rosacea, but regardless, our lasers can use a precise wavelength to help your body absorb and eliminated the unwanted vein.

Patches which are flat and slightly more brown than your skin

This may be referred to with a blanket term, “hyperpigmentation” (meaning your skin has more pigment in that area) but it’s most likely either an age spot, melasma, or a café-au-lait birthmark. The causes of birthmarks aren’t entirely clear, but age spots are caused by the sun damage you’ve accumulated over time, while melasma is caused by certain hormones, which is why it’s often found in pregnant women (“pregnancy mask”), women taking oral contraceptives, or women using hormone replacement therapy during menopause. Either way, you may be able to remedy these spots with laser treatments or, in some cases, chemical peels or microdermabrasion.

Tiny round brown spots or larger, raised brown spots

These marks are probably either freckles or moles. While moles are often long-lasting birthmarks, freckles may be genetic and/or may develop due to sun exposure. Laser mole removal and freckle removal are often successful after just one treatment, though some moles may need multiple sessions.

Pink-colored patches

When they don’t involve any discomfort like itching or pain and have existed as long as you can remember, pink spots are often a type of vascular birthmark called a salmon patch. While the reason is unclear, they appear when an abnormal cluster of blood vessels is visible from beneath the skin, and our precise lasers can target these blood vessels to remove them.

Bright red raised dots

They may look alarming because of their bright color, but like salmon patches, these blood vessel growths are typically harmless, and most can be removed with a single laser skin treatment. While some appear as birthmarks and fade by age 10, others can appear later in life and multiply.

At Laser Lights, we recognize the importance of feeling like your appearance empowers you, rather than holds you back with self-consciousness. Whether that means embracing your natural features and maintaining healthy skin, or clearing away something you dislike, schedule a consultation with us to discuss how we can help. Start Spring the Right Way…with Skincare Savings!

Uncategorized anti-aging laser treatments, Atlanta microdermabrasion, chemical peels atlanta, laser hair removal atlanta, microdermabrasion Atlanta

Though it doesn’t always feel like it outside, spring is right at our doorstep, and that means we’re getting ready for warmer weather and more opportunities to show off beautiful skin. But, if you’re not quite “show off”-ready yet, we’re here to help, and our March specials can save you some cash so you’ll have plenty left over for a fun spring break, too.

For the Face

If you have some aging or imperfections you want to clear up before the season of weddings, parties, and vacations, we have services at every level. For more subtle changes, like reducing acne, skin dullness, early signs of aging, and light hyperpigmentation, Silk® microdermabrasion may be a perfect fit by combining exfoliation and suction with customized topical medications.

The next step up is typically a chemical peel. These can range in depth depending on how significant of an improvement you’re looking for. Based on your individual “problem areas,” we can also tailor your peel to target the specific issues you want to minimize.

If you’re looking for a more significant enhancement in terms of facial aging, surface imperfections, acne scars, and age spots, you may be a perfect fit for our fractionated CO2 laser skin resurfacing. “Fractionated” means our advanced laser uses tiny treatment zones to revitalize your skin while still keeping downtime to a minimum.

If wrinkles are your primary target, you won’t want to miss our March Madness event on Friday, March 11^th from 9am – 5pm. We’ll be offering one-day-only savings on wrinkle reduction injections with Dysport®, Restylane®, Restylane® Silk (for lips), and Restylane® Lyft (for cheeks), all performed by our double board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. David Whiteman. Appointments must be scheduled in advance, so call us today before the event is full!

For the Body

While it can also be used for facial hair, laser hair removal is one of our most popular treatments for the body. Though it often takes around six sessions for the fullest, most lasting results, laser hair removal can leave you with silky smooth skin so you can enjoy those beach vacations without needing to shave and wax.

If your cosmetic concern is more of the “permanent ink” persuasion, we can help you with that, too. Whether your tattoo is a once-loved accessory you’ve outgrown or it was a regret from the start, our advanced tattoo removal lasers can give you back your clear skin (or make room for a new tattoo).

We all have our “problem areas” which can hold us back from truly enjoying all the social occasions these coming seasons will hold, but with over thirty different services as well as a selection of skincare products, we have you covered. To discuss your concerns and how we may be able to help, schedule a skin analysis and consultation at Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center. Or, to stay up-to-date about our latest specials, events, and skincare tips, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
