New Year, New You: Tighten Skin & Reduce Cellulite with Viora Reaction™
Gone are the seasons of spring and summer spent in long skirts and pants. At Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center, we prioritize our patients looking and feeling their best, spurring us to keep up with the latest technology to address common concerns. Two exceptionally common concerns seen in our industry are loose, sagging skin and stubborn cellulite. To tackle these cosmetic grievances, we offer our patients Viora Reaction™, a non-invasive technology for skin tightening and cellulite reduction.
So, how does Viora Reaction™ work? The innovative technology functions by using three simultaneous radio frequency modes to effectively treat and tighten lax skin, particularly in areas such as the neck and face. Viora promotes collagen and elastin fiber production and evens imbalanced skin tone, wrinkles and fine lines. While most patients can have noticeable results after one treatment, multiple treatments are typically recommended to optimize results.
In addition to functioning as an anti-aging treatment, Viora can also lessen the appearance of cellulite. Contrary to popular belief, cellulite is not a direct correlation with excess fat. Rather, cellulite appears due to deviations in skin thickness and fat deposit concentration. Just under the skin’s surface, connective collagen fibers are pushed and pulled by even the smallest amounts of fat, creating an uneven, dimpled skin surface texture. Using the same power of radio-frequency used in treating lax skin and controlled suction, application of the Reaction™ hand piece aids in increasing circulation and decreasing the appearance of cellulite in the treatment area(s). Because this minimally-invasive procedure does not physically modify the substructure of the dermis like more traditional body sculpting procedures, follow up sessions (typically six to eight) are recommended to produce maximum cellulite reduction results.
