Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center has been providing safe laser treatments in Atlanta since 1999 and was founded by Patricia C. Daniel, RN, and David M. Whiteman, MD, FRCS(c). They are members of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), the world’s largest scientific organization dedicated to promoting research, education and high standard s of clinical care in the field of medical laser applications. Founded in 1980, The ASLMS is considered the world’s preeminent resource for laser research, safety, education and clinical knowledge.
We are a full-service cosmetic center providing personalized treatments to both men & women. All of our laser equipment is medical grade, FDA approved and safe for all skin types. Since no one laser is perfect for everyone, we use the appropriate laser for your specific needs. Oreta Johnson-Wheeler,
Certified Medical Assistant and Administrative Associate- Born in Jamaica, Oreta grew up in New York City where she developed a love for the creative arts, writing, and dance. After receiving her medical assistant certification, Oreta went on to obtain her bachelor degree in biology. Since 2005, Oreta has used her diverse interests and passion for patient care to assist the patients of Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center. In addition to her administrative duties (i.e. - facilitating patient services and appointment coordination), Oreta is also a certified Endermologie® technician and enjoys helping patients get rid of cellulite and achieve their skin tightening goals.
Oceana Lisac,
Licensed Esthetician- A Hawaii native, Oceana became a licensed esthetician in 2003 and went on to work in the private sector of esthetic skin care services for several years. In her time working at high-end day spas, Oceana developed a love of helping patients and facilitating the improvement of skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, and aging symptoms through skin care treatments. Oceana joined the Laser Lights team in 2007, and has since expanded her treatment portfolio to include laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, and cosmetic treatment consultations. She is currently pursuing her degree in nursing from Gainesville State College.
Jill Wilkinson,
Licensed Massage Therapist- Originally from Washington state, Jill graduated from Seattle’s Ashmead School of Massage in 2001. Upon graduating, Jill joined the massage education faculty at Ashmead where she assisted students in anatomy & physiology, kinesiology, and massage technique courses. She brings a specialized knowledge of prenatal, Swedish, sports, trigger point, and deep tissue massage to Laser Lights Cosmetic Laser Center’s massage patients.
Jill has an extensive medical background working for several years as a US Army Dental Assistant and then in the private sector. She continues to expand her skill set with continuing education courses in massage for orthopedic conditions and advanced chemistry classes. Outside of work, Jill enjoys spending time with her husband and two grown children.
Wendy Coover,
Liscensed Esthetician- Wendy is a Florida native with a diverse background in aesthetic skin care treatments including: laser skin treatments, laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, makeup consultation (skin analysis), waxing, eyelash and brow tinting, and inter-office medical marketing coordination. Wendy’s 10 years of retail and practice experience makes her a valuable resource for skin care products such as Laser Lights’ private label and our line of NIA 24™ cosmetic products.
